Public Power Week Celebration

Public Power Week is a time to celebrate the advantages that locally-owned and operated electric utilities provide. Please join the City of Gastonia Electric Department in celebrating Friday, October 9 from 4 – 7 pm. We are pleased to partner with Eastridge Mall who is hosting our event in the Mall parking area near Dillard's.

• Champion lineman demonstrating pole climbing.
• Pole rescue demonstrations
• Safety demonstrations for kids
• Hands-on activities
• Bucket trucks on display
• Keep Gastonia Beautiful on hand to offer information on mulch sales!
• Electric staff will have FREE energy efficiency kits while supplies last as well as give-a-ways for children
• FREE hot dogs and popcorn from the Gastonia Conference Center while supplies last
