As a member of the City of Gastonia’s management team, Ms. Melody Braddy has senior management oversight of the Financial Services Department, the Parks and Recreation Department and the Schiele Museum of Natural History and Planetarium.
Ms. Braddy has worked for the City of Gastonia since 1990 in numerous capacities, such as the Budget Administrator and most recently the Director of Financial Services. In addition, she has served in various capacities of local and state professional groups and community organizations. She has a Bachelors of Arts degree in Accounting and a Master’s degree in Business Administration both from Belmont Abbey College.
