Event Vendor Policy

The City of Gastonia Event Vendor Policy outlines vendor type restrictions, restricted items, vendor space, communications and other details. The vendor policy is included on all vendor applications. Please review the policy prior to applying.

Open applications are listed under the individual event on the City Event page.

Food Vendors

If you are having a food truck or food vendor at your event, please complete the following steps:

  • Fill out a temporary food event organizer application through Gaston County and send the application and all participating food vendor names to envhealth@gastongov.com. This application is free.
  • Send the food vendor application to all of your participating food vendors. They can send their completed applications directly to envhealth@gastongov.com. If they are not a permitted food vendor, they will have to pay Gaston County a $75 permit application fee. Otherwise, the application is free of charge, but all food vendors do need to fill out the application.

Please keep in mind that if your event is at the Rotary Pavilion, grilling is not allowed unless in a food truck.
