All utility service meters are read monthly. Using hand-held computer devices, Meter Service Technicians record readings for both your water and electric usage and make note of any problems. In some cases, electric meter readings are obtained automatically using radio frequency technology and do not require the Meter Service Technician to visually inspect the meter each time.
Please help us read your service meters by ensuring your meters are easily accessible. Cut back shrubs and avoid piling trash or parking cars over meters. Locked gates and dogs can also make meters inaccessible. Please make sure we have access to the meters during regular business hours. Access is required so that we can read and service your meters properly.
Offices for Utility Customer Service are open Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm and are located in Garland Business Center at 150 South York Street on the first floor.
