North New Hope
Project Overview
The City proposes to construct new sidewalk along the east side of NC 279 (N. New Hope Road) from US 29/74 (Franklin Boulevard) to Court Drive and along the west side of N. New Hope Road from Court Drive to Hunt Avenue. The purpose of the project is to connect existing sections of sidewalk to provide a continuous sidewalk on N. New Hope Road from Franklin Boulevard to Hunt Avenue. This project will tie in to the proposed improvements for NCDOT’s I-85 widening project.

Project Overview
The City proposes to construct a sidewalk along both sides of SR 2200 (Cox Road) from I-85 to Court Drive. The purpose of the project is to connect existing sections of sidewalk to provide a continuous sidewalk on Cox Road from I-85 to Court Drive. This project will tie in to the proposed improvements for NCDOT’s I-85 widening project.
