Veterans Day City holiday

Friday, Nov. 11 is Veterans Day and a City holiday.
- City of Gastonia administrative offices will be closed on Nov. 11
- City Transit buses will not run.
- No trash collection on Friday, Nov. 11.
- No leaf vacuuming, excess household trash collection or yard waste collection on Friday, Nov. 11 or Monday, Nov. 14.
- The Schiele Museum of Natural History will be open on Veterans Day. Veterans, active military members and their families can enjoy free admission on Nov. 11.
- City of Gastonia parks and the Skeet & Trap Range will be open on Veterans Day.
- City community centers will be closed on Nov. 11.
Because of predicted heavy rain, the 2022 Veterans Day Parade in Gastonia has been canceled.
