The Technology Services Department has a primary goal of guiding and managing the use of existing and emerging technology throughout the City to serve the citizens of Gastonia in an efficient and cost-effective manner. We do this by partnering with all City departments to understand their business requirements and then act as technology consultants, project managers, system implementers, developers, change managers, and technical support to ensure the delivery of technology solutions that provide value through automation.
