The name of our permitting system is CityView and its Portal gives residents and contractors 24/7 convenience when applying for permits, making payments, viewing review status of applications and scheduling inspections.

ANNOUNCEMENT – PERMITTING PROCESS CHANGE

As of August 29th, 2022, Construction Permits are issued by Gaston County Permitting.  However, before you apply with Gaston County Permitting you will need to provide them with a Zoning Permit from the City of Gastonia which serves as our approval for you to continue with your project.
