Pedestrian Hit by Vehicle

 

For Immediate Release – March 9, 2024

Gastonia, NC. - The Gastonia Police Department Traffic Division is investigating a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of East Garrison Blvd and Union Road.  A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle traveling east on East Garrison Blvd.  The driver of the vehicle stopped on scene.  The pedestrian was taken to Caromont Regional Medical Center with life threatening injuries.  The driver of the vehicle was uninjured.  Anyone that may have witnessed the incident is asked to contact the Gastonia Police Department at 704-866-6702 and ask to speak with Officer Fulton or Officer Koeppel.
