The Erwin Center Swimming Pool was renovated in 2023 and reopened in the summer of 2024. Designed as more of a small-scale water park, it has a little bit of something for everyone. The new layout features a zero-depth entry with fountain geysers on “the beach,” a two-story waterslide, three lanes for lap swimming, and colorful splash features including a bucket dump and three rainfall aqua domes. There are restrooms with showers and dressing space. Pool capacity necessitates the observance of sessions multiple for public swim.
Public Swim Hours of Operation & Cost
Tickets are sold a half hour before each session.
Session 1 – 12:30-3:00 PM Cost: $4.00 per person (ages 1 and older)
Session 2 – 3:30-6:00 PM Cost: $4.00 per person (ages 1 and older)
Regular Season Public Swim Hours (through August 7th):

The Erwin Center Splash Pad and the Lineberger Park Splash Pad are currently closed due to drought-related water restrictions.
