• Enforce the fire code through inspections of businesses, new construction, and life safety systems
• Conduct fire investigations to determine the origin and cause of fires
• Teach life safety education to residents, schools, and community groups
• Build your career with a clear path for advancement through the I, II, and III levels

Welcome to the Gastonia Fire Marshal's Office. Our goal is to serve the residents and visitors of Gastonia by enforcing the fire code and other life safety codes, teaching life safety education, enforcing the city's burning ordinance, and conducting origin and cause fire investigations.
