Gastonia, N.C. - June 21, 2023: Detectives from the Gastonia Police Department continue to investigate yesterday afternoon’s shooting of two 14-year-old males that occurred outside in the area of Laurel Lane and Quail Woods Road and are asking the public for help identifying the suspect(s).
On June 20 just after 4:30 p.m., GPD and Fire and Rescue personnel responded to the area of Laurel Lane and Quail Woods Road for a shooting that just occurred.
Responding officers located two 14-year-old males outside in the 1800 block of Quail Woods Road suffering from gunshot wounds. Both males were taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.
This remains an active investigation and there is no suspect information available at this time.
