Gastonia Police Looking for Bank Fraud Suspect

 

 

December 29, 2023

Gastonia, NC. -  Gastonia Police Detectives are asking for the public’s help in identifying the man in the photo who is wearing the ball cap.  The suspect entered the United Bank on S. New Hope in Gastonia on Wednesday, December 27th, and cashed a check for $2,500 using the ID of Mr. Richard Allen Leinwand. Mr. Leinwand is currently out of town and does not know this subject. The suspect was a passenger in a gold Chevy Malibu that was occupied by a driver and front passenger.
