Homeowner Rehabilitation Program
The Homeowner Housing Rehabilitation Program works to help low and moderate income homeowners fix their homes. The program is designed to repair major operation systems making the home safe and comfortable for many years to come. Grant assistance is available up to a maximum of $25,000.00, which is secured by a ten-year lien.
Water and Sewer Assistance
The Water and Sewer Connection Assistance Program assists with the tap fees and the plumbing costs associated with connecting to the City water/sewer system. Assistance is available to those persons within the required proximity of current available City of Gastonia water and sewer systems.

Housing Rehabilitation Program – Summary
The Housing Rehabilitation Program is designed to preserve and improve the quality of homes in our community. Through funding assistance, we help eligible homeowners make critical repairs that ensure their residences are safe, healthy, and up to code.
